Overview

Site Versions provide users with the ability to preview live versions of their website. This functionality enables the review of the website's content, design, and functionality, providing a means of ensuring that the website is functioning as intended prior to deployment.

Creating a Version

Click the "Versions" tab on the left hand side bar to open up the Versions Page. In the top right corner click the "Create Version" button

This will prompt a modal where you can select your site domain and enter a version name.

At this point, it is necessary to wait for your website to undergo several stages of development, which can be tracked via the status tab. The status tab enables the monitoring of the website's progress, allowing for the assessment of the development stages and their completion.

Upon completion of the website version, the status of the website will change to "deployed," at which point it will become a clickable link. This link will redirect you to a preview of your live site, providing a means of reviewing the website's content and design in a live setting.

It is important to note that any subsequent modifications made to your website via the layout editor will necessitate the deployment of a new version in order for these changes to be visible on the live site. By deploying a new version, the updates made in the layout editor can be effectively implemented and experienced by users visiting the live site.
