We've launched two big additions to the Flux platform in this update.
Authors can now control the visibility of a module both through the module properties panel, and through flows. The visibility on a module determines if it should execute. When hidden, the module is not executed, when it's visible it does. This unlocks new possibilities, and simplifies existing use cases.
For example - because hidden modules don't execute, the Video module won't attempt to autoplay until they're visible, you no longer need to control playback state through flows when revealing a video module after a page has loaded.
We've also added a new Lottie module. Lottie Files are a way to playback After Effects animations in the browser. With the Lottie module, you can have complete control over your animations through flows.
These two features play together extremely well to dramatically extend the possibilities of micro-interactions and animations in Flux powered sites. Checkout the video above for an example of how these can be combined to create incredible interactive sites.
Added Visibility setting to all Modules
Added Visibility nodes to Flow Controller for controlling and responding to Visibility changes
Added Lottie Module
[Analytics] Improved the load time of analytics data
[Analytics] Fixed an issue that caused bad data to be cached by the browser, preventing the display of data after the error was resolved
[Module - Video] Fixed an issue that would lead to performance issues during long VOD playback
[Module - Access Code] Fixed an issue that would prevent Guests from re-sending access codes if their email address in Flux had capital letters.
