These steps guide you through the process of linking a domain registered with Hover to Flux. You will need to have a Hover.com account, and own the domain your wish to link to Flux. For details on how to purchase a domain, see.

From the Hover.com homepage, click Sign In, then Control Panel. Login with your Hover.com account.

Select the domain you wish to link to Flux.

Select DNS

Click Add A Record

Select CNAME from the Type dropdown. Keep this modal open for the next steps.

Adding the Certificate Records

On the Flux add domain page, copy the CNAME Record text.

In Hover, paste this record into the HOSTNAME field.

In Flux, copy the Value text.

In Hover, paste this into the TARGET NAME field.

Click ADD RECORD in the Hover form.

If there is more than one record in the table in Flux, enter the additional records the same way.

Verifying the Certificate Records

In Fluxbackstage, click Verify. Flux will validate that the DNS records are set correctly.

It may take a few minutes before the records validate. Sometimes you will have to try a few times before it succeeds.

Adding the Domain Records

Follow the same process for the Domain Records.
